Maghi Mela Celebration:

According to the Nanakshahi calendar, Maghi Mela is celebrated in January each year.

The Mela is celebrated in honor of the 40 Sikh warriors who perished fighting the Mughals in the 1705 Battle of Khidrana, which was dubbed Muktsar after the battle.
