Who is Mahavir

The Jain religion’s 24th and final Tirthankara was Lord Mahavir. He was the third child of king Siddharth and queen Trishala.He left his realm and family at 30 years old when masters got Diksha upon the arrival of Margashirsha Krishna Dashami. For the next 20 years, he meditated under the Ashoka tree to attain his inner desires and deerlings. He forfeited food and took care that he won’t hurt any human or living kind.

Lord Mahavir’s philosophies encouraged “Satya’ (truthfulness, “ahimsa” (non-violence) Nastya (nonstealing), “Bramaxharya “(Chastity), “Aparigraha” (simple living).

Lord Mahavir was also called by different names like Ativeer, Sanmati, Vardhaman, and veer.
